There are hotels and guest houses in both Delhi, Mathura, Vrindaban and Govardhan. A good place to reconnoitre and get your bearings is either the Sri Raman Bihari Gaudiya Math in Delhi (Janakpuri), Sri Kesavaji Gaudiya Math in Mathura or the Rupa-Sanatana Gaudiya Math in Vrindaban. There aren't any guest facilities to speak of in the Mathura Math, and not much in Vrindaban. Devotees mainly stay in dharamsalas (basic accommodations) in Vrindaban.

The Math in Janakpuri (Delhi) has a guest house. When you turn up at the Math in Mathura and Vrindavan, be prepared to be directed elsewhere. There are plenty of places in Vrindaban, so don't worry too much about it. The Spiritual Guides travel guide has the names of some places, but they are all up near ISKCON and there are places that are just as good nearby the Math. The other travel books are useless in Vrindaban. Everyone in Mathura knows the Kesavaji Gaudiya Math, but if you find someone who doesn't it's nearby Vikash Bazaar and Holi Gate. (In Hindi that's "Kesavaji Gaudiya Math pas may Vikash Bazaar aur Holi Gate").

The Rupa-Sanatana Mandir in Vrindaban is near Seva Kunja and is accessible by taxi, though it may take some persuasion because the road is narrow. The taxi wallah can easily turn around in the entrance to the Math (if they open the gate, which they normally will) or back up a bit (reverse) to Seva Kunja where there is a wide spot before road narrows. Most of the time drivers who are unfamiliar with the area refuse to go further than the wide spot. The Rupa-Sanatana Gaudiya Math is only about a two minute walk from there, on your right. The Seva Kunja area is monkey-central, so watch your glasses.
