First, let us thank Srila Bhaktivedanta Narayana Gosvami Maharaja for inspiring
us with the pure message of our guruvarga, especially the Gauravani, message
of Sri Caitanya, coming in the line of Srila Rupa Gosvami (rupanuga).
Then let us thank our loyal subscribers who have supported us for the last year
and a half. And then let us honor the heroic efforts of our small band of
broadcasters to keep the broadcast up and running while constantly looking for

public announcement on VNN on February 19, 2003; and a year later, on February
4, 2004, upgraded to all video (making on-demand audio a free service at

We offered a single stream at one bitrate (28kbps), one video after another 24
hours a day, 7 days a week. While exciting, it was both time consuming for the
devotees managing it and limiting to our subscribers: they only got to see the
one video we were showing at any one time.
Now that has changed as of today: Aksaya Tritiya, April 22, 2004, the auspicious
day for new beginnings.
