The Auspicious Occasion Of Sri Varaha-dvadasi

February 3, 2004 (or February 2 if you are in certain parts of the world) is the second of the three-day holy day serial. Day one is Bhaimi Ekadasi, day two is Varaha-dvadasi and day three is Nityananda Trayodasi.

During Kartika this year, Srila Narayana Maharaja requested his artists to draw renditions of the Dasa-avataras, which would be turned into very large bas reliefs (sculpture-paintings) on the walls of his newly constructed Sri Giriraja Govardhana Matha. Generally on this auspicious day, Srila Gurudeva and our Srila Prabhupada sing, along with their devotees, Dasa-avatara-stotram by Srila Jayadeva Gosvami. So on this day, we pray that you will kindly accept these drawings of some of the Dasa-avatara renditions.

List of artists in alphabetical order: Bakula dasi, Krsna-vallabha dasi, Manjari dasi, Nandimukhi dasi, Syamarani dasi, Visvambhara dasa
