The futility of material enjoyment. "Everyone wants to be happy, but generally we can find only a little happiness and affection in this world."

Out of the seven hundred verses of the Bhagavad-gītā, Verse 18.65 captures the essence of the entire Gītā:

"Absorb your mind and heart in Me, become My devotee, worship Me, offer your praṇāma to Me, and then certainly you will come to Me. I make this promise to you because you are very dear to Me.”

The first three chapters of Nectar of Govinda-līlā explain the three elements of this verse in relation to our aim to enter Goloka Vṛndāvana. Other chapters contain a colourful description, infused with pure Gauḍīya siddhānta, of Vasanta-pañcami, the first day of Spring, and other nectar.

The power of the transcendental holy name of the Lord: "When a qualified person chants harinama, this light diffuses, thus keeping the darkness of illusion away from the soul."

The purpose of this sloka book is to help the devotees study, remember and meditate on slokas. Slokas are pathways to the spiritual world. Memorizing and meditating on slokas is an integral part of our sadhana-bhajana. Hearing and reciting them create spiritual impressions which help one to make progress in bhakti. In this book Sri Sriman Bhaktivedanta Narayana Gosvami Maharaja, describes the numerous sacred places of Sri Navadvipa-dhama and introduces many of the holy places in the surrounding area of Sri Gauda-mandala (which includes Bangladesh).

The enclosed map of Sri Gauda-mandala offers another dimension of involvement to the reader of this and other books about Sriman Mahaprabhu and His followers. The locations of many places were verifiable, but over time, some places have been forgotten or obscured by changes in landscape, and therefore are not easily located or available for darsana.

This book is unique and very significant. It presents for the Western readers the life, teachings, activities, and interactions of a deeply realized recent acarya in a Gaudiya Vaisnava culture. We are privileged to witness through this book the guru-disciple relationship in a line of empowered acaryas, and to see a variety of expressions of guru-nistha.

These translated lectures comprise the immaculate commentary of Srila Bhaktivedanta Narayana Gosvami Maharaja on Srila Sanatana Gosvamipada's Sri Brhad-bhagavatamrta. Descriptions given tell how, having recently arrived in Sri Vaikuntha-dhama, the most desirable of places and which entrance into is sought after by unlimited saintly persons, Gopa-kumar is feeling despondent and cannot even ascertain the cause of his own dissatisfaction. At that time he is approached by Sri Narada Rsi, who becomes his siksa-guru (instructing spiritual master) and enlightens him with the tattva necessary to complete his spiritual journey and thereby attain the fulfilment of all his long cherished internal desires  in the transcendental land of spontaneous loving devotion to Sri Sri Radha-Govinda, Sri Goloka-Vraja.

"The Song of Krsna's Flute" is translated from the Hindi commentary of Srila Bhaktivedanta Narayana Gosvami Maharaja reveals the depth of the commentaries of Srila Jiva Gosvami and Srila Visvanatha Cakravarti Thakura. The Srimad-Bhagavatam is the fully ripened, nectarian fruit of the desire tree of Vedic literature which comprises the entirety of Indian thought. Within Srimad-Bhagavatam, gopi-prema has been ascertained to be the ultimate objective. A few towering waves of gopi-prema can be seen from the Venu-gita portion of Srimad-Bhagavatam. Rasika bhaktas drown themselves in these waves and even lose all consciousness of their own bodies. Confidential Secrets of Bhajana is compiled from the lectures of Srila Bhaktivedanta Narayana Gosvami Maharaja, which were given during Kartika 1996 in Vrindavana on Srila Bhaktivinoda Thakura's Bhajana-rahasya.

In this book Siva Tattva, Srila Bhaktivedanta Narayana Gosvami Maharaja brilliantly clarifies the holy Hindu trinity: Brahma, Visnu and Siva. Empowered by his spiritual masters in the disciplic succession of the Gaudiya Vaisnava tradition, he reveals the conclusive truth (tattva) of Lord Siva's original position and gives us a look into his endearing and affectionate nature.

Sri Vraja-mandala parikrama, originally inaugurated by Sriman Mahaprabhu Himself, has been conducted for over fifty years under the supervision and guidance of Srimad Bhaktivedanta Narayana Gosvami Maharaja. "Blessed is the land of Vraja, where the creator of the universe, Lord Brahma, dwells in the form of a mountain range in Varsana, to have the dust of the Divine Couple Sri Sri Radha-Krsna's lotus feet on the head: where the maintainer, Lord Visnu, has assumed the forms of Govardhana and Visnu-parvata: where the moon-crested Lord Siva has taken up residence as Nandisvara Hill in Nandagrama: and where Sri Uddhava, the best of Hari's servants, lives as a blade of grass, a small shrub or a creeper on the bank of Kusuma-sarovara."

“Lord Brahma described in a samhita (compilation) of one hundred chapters whatever essence of pure bhakti he had been holding in his heart in connection with the Supreme Lord. This treatise was originally written in Bengali, in the year 1986, for the 500th anniverary of the advent of Sri Caitanya Mahaprabhu, the scheduled yet hidden incarnation for this age of Kali, as established in Sriman-Bhagavatam and other Vedic literatures. It was composed by Sri Srimand Bhaktivedanta Narayana Gosvami Maharaja (Srila Gurudeva), Sri Caitanya Mahprabhu's illustrious personal associate, whose sole misson and most prominent speciality is to give clairty and emphasis to the specific, internal nature of Sri Caitanya Mahaprabhu's all-compassionate mission in this world.

Sri Bhajana-rahasya is compiled by Srila Bhaktivinoda Thakura Mahasaya. He has collected into the form of a book several confidential hints from his own method of bhajana to guide sincere sadhakas who are performing bhajana under his direction. Some years ago, this destitute person (Srila Bhaktisiddhanta Sarasvati Thakura) observed him performing bhajana. He was constantly reciting and relishing verses such as the ones in this book, thus becoming overwhelmed with bhagavat-prema. For sadhakas whose faith is on the neophyte platform, the system of arcana is provided.
