Sri Narayana, pleased by Lord Brahma's penance, tells him in four verses (found in the ninth chapter of the Second Canto of Srimad-Bhagavatam) the entire essence of Srimad-Bhagavatam, profound with deep meaning subject to different interpretation by different sampradayas.
This edition is unique in that it has commentaries and their translations done by prominent acaryas of four different Vaisnava sampradayas. It is especially filled with a rasamayi interpretation of these four verses as done by acaryas of the Gaudiya Vaishnava sampradaya.
