[A short darsana at the home of
Sripad Prana-kisora dasa Adhikari]
Whatever I have explained in my classes this past week you should keep in your pocket; the pocket of your heart Never forget it. If Sri Krsna and the mahat-purusa are both present in the world, we should first try to obey and take shelter of the mahat. Krsna can cheat you, whereas the mahat will not. In other words, Lord Krsna cannot teach you how to serve Him, because He doesn't know how. He is the object of loving service to Himself; He is not its container or reservoir. The mahat is the reservoir. He knows how to serve Krsna expertly. That is why it is always best to take shelter of the mahat, even in Krsna's personal presence.
So try to keep it your heart-pocket, forever.
All of you, try to understand and follow what I have told in my classes. You have gone through millions of species of life. Sri Krsna has now mercifully given you this human form of life, so try to use it properly.
[King Rahugana said: This birth as a human being is the best of all. Even birth among the demigods in the heavenly planets is not as glorious as birth as a human being on this Earth. What is the use of the exalted position of a demigod? In the heavenly planets, due to profuse material comforts, there is no possibility of associating with devotees. (Srimad-Bhagavatam 5.13.21)]
Even the demigods desire this human life and human form, so you are very lucky to have it. Do not waste it in sense gratification eating, drinking and making merry, and involving in marriages and all such activities. You cannot be happy in that way, so don't deviate from the activities of devotional service. Be very strong, like us, like Srila Prabhupada and all of our acaryas, and like Hemalata Thakurani, Gangamata Gosvamini and Jahnava devi. Male devotees should be like Srila Raghunatha dasa Gosvami, and lady devotees should be like Gangamata Thakurani, and Vasuda and Jahnava Thakurani. Then our lives will be successful.
I am happy and satisfied that our festival was so very, very successful. I will be still more happy if you follow my instructions for your entire life. What's done is done. Whatever you have done is already done. Now, don't make any new boyfriends or girlfriends. Whatever wrong you did in the past must now be stopped.
