About Caru Chandrika dasi

In 1991 Caru Chandirka dasi joined an ISKCON temple in UK and began her service of preaching and distributing the transcendental literatures of Srila Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupada.   A few years later after entering married life, she continued to distribute books and hold nama-hatta programs in various places in the UK.

In 1994 she first met her Gurudeva, Srila Bhaktivedanta Narayana Gosvami Maharaja, and in 1996 received initiation. Since that time she travelled with Srila Gurudeva, on his world tours, until  2010.  On these tours, under the guidance of Srila Gurudeva, she created and played many roles in various dramas, illustrating many vaisnava teachings.

In 1998, she took up vanaprastha life (renounced life) and began living in Vrindavan during the times she wasn’t traveling. Srila Gurudeva had ordered her to travel and preach all over the world, which she has been doing steadily since 2007.
