All Glories to Sri Sri Guru and Gauranga
Srila Gurudeva’s Centennial celebration and
Sri Navadvipa-dhama Parikrama

We cordially invite you to join us for a 3-day hari-katha festival in honor of Srila Gurudeva’s 100 years appearance in this world, following with a 7-day inspirational pilgrimage to the nine islands of Sri Navadvipa dham, West Bengal, in the company of blissful devotees from all over the world.

Although many of us might not be able to physically present, still our most magnamious Sri Guru-rupanuga varga, Sri Nitai-Gauracandra and Their eternal associates will bestow Their causeless mercy on us even if we remember, pray or mentally meditate on Their supreme enchanting, eternal pastimes places and lila’s.

Sri Navadvipa dham is most magnanimous.

32The boundless and infinite glory of Sri Navadvipa-dhäma cannot be completely described, even by the father of mankind, Brahma; by the lord of lords, Mahadeva; or by Anantadeva with his thousands of mouths. For countless millennia demigods and goddesses, as well as Rudras and Siddhas, worship Sri Gauracandra in various parts of Navadvipa-dhama just to receive His mercy and the mercy of the dhama. The Srutis, Småtis, Tantras, Puraëas and other scriptures obscure their descriptions of Sri Navadvipa-dhama’s true splendour, which can only be understood by the mercy of Bhagavan and His devotees.

It was the desire of the Lord that in Satya-yuga, Treta-yuga and Dvapara-yuga, the glory of Sri Navadvipa-dhama remain concealed. In Kali-yuga, however, the glory of this dhama resplendently manifests and the influence of the other holy places diminishes.

The Supreme Personality of Godhead, Vrajendra-nandana Sri Kåñëa, descends as Sri Gaurasundara to benefit the living entities by propagating the chanting of the holy name and by distributing prema. Beyond even that, He descends to personally relish the sentiments of Sri Radha. At that time, His most cherished abode, Sri Våndavana, which until that time was covered, manifests as Sri Navadvipa-dhama, and powerfully bestows prema-bhakti. If a person takes shelter of Sri Gaurasundara in His abode, he will easily attain this prema- bhakti that dear devotees like Sri Narada and others rarely achieve. Sri Gaura and Sri Nityananda do not seriously consider the living entities’ offences; neither does Their abode. Prema- bhakti in the unnatojjvala-rasa of Vraja is attained simply by meditating or residing in the land of Navadvipa or circumambulating it with faith.

In conclusion, Sri Navadvipa-dhama is as supremely magnanimous as Sri Gaurasundara Himself. Sri Navadvipa-dhama consists of nine islands [nava means "nine" and dvipa means "island"], namely,

Antardvipa, Semantadvipa, Godrumadvip, Madhyadvipa, Koladvipa, Ritudvipa, Jahnudvipa, Modadruma dvipa and Rudradvipa. Furthermore, Sri Navadvipa-dhama is the abode of the nine types of devotional service as follows:

Antardvipa – self-surrender; Simantadvipa – hearing; Godrumadvipa – chanting; Madhyadvipa – remembering; Koladvipa – serving the Lord's lotus feet; ritudvipa – worshiping(archan); Jahnudvipa – offering prayers; Modadruma dvipa – engaging as a servant; and Rudradvipa – serving as a friend.

Our Sampradaya Acarya, nitya-lila pravista Srila Bhaktisiddhanta Sarasvati Thakura inaugurated Sri Navadvipa-dhama parikrama and Sri Vraja Mandal parikrama for the ultimate benefit of all the sincere devotees of the Lord. And our beloved Srila Gurudeva, nitya-lila pravista ashtottara-sata Srila Bhaktivedanta Narayana Gosvami Maharaja has been carrying forward the same tradition. In fact Srila Gurudeva is still continuing this parikrama at Sri Sri Keshavji Gaudiya Matha, Navadvipa-dhama and thus inviting all for the annual Navadvipa-dhama parikrama in 2021.

Srila Bhaktivinoda Thakur, one of the most important Acaryas of our sampradaya, writes in his Navadvipa-dhama mahatmya:

The result of remembering or staying only one day in Navadvipa –

sarva-tirthe vasa kari' jei phala pāi navadvipe labhi tāhā ekadine bhāi

‘O brother, the result one obtains by residing at any of the other holy places for many days will be received by residing for only one day in Sri Navadvipa.’

Therefore, all the sincere devotees of the Lord who desire pure love of Godhead are cordially invited to take part in the parikrama of Sri Navadvipa-dhama, either mentally or physically.
