In the middle of June 1989 Markandeya Rsi das went to India to investigate the points about the Vaisnava calendar as listed in the GBC resolution of 1989. He consulted different persons connected to calendar making, astronomy, etc., and this paper is the report of this investigation. All the points in the resolution are discussed. A couple of the points are only discussed briefly.
Srila Bhaktivedanta Narayana Gosvami Maharaja and Srila Bhaktivedanta Trivikram Gosvami Maharaja were also consulted in this investigation and there guidance is briefly listed in this document.
